Charter bus from Cayo Coco airportChartered bus:
Most tourists arriving in Cayo Coco by air already have the transfers pre-arranged by a tour operator and included in their vacation package. If it's your case, then when you exit the terminal you will be greeted by your Tour Operator representative who will tell you which shuttle bus to board for the transfer to your hotel.

Taxi in CubaTaxi:
You will find them in front of the Terminal building. A taxi ride from the Airport to the Cayo Coco hotels costs approximately 15 to 25 CUC (depending on hotel), and a taxi ride from the airport to Cayo Guillermo hotels costs approximately 40-50 CUC, always agree the fare first.

Can rental in CubaCar rental:
Agency located at Cayo Airport: Via Rent-a-Car. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during the high season when the demand for rental cars often exceeds the supply. Prices vary from about 50 CUC to 125 CUC per day depending on car category and time of year. Insurance is mandatory and usually costs 15 CUC per day. There’s no Viazul or Astro bus station at the Cayo Coco airport.

If your international flight arrive in Havana

For travelers arriving in Havana and who don’t have pre-arranged transfers or a car rental, here are two ways to get to Cayo Coco:

By air - Domestic flight + Taxi
Take a domestic flight from Havana to Cayo Coco (Jardines del Rey Airport), operated by Cubana or Aerogaviota, and then take a taxi from the Cayo Coco Airport to your hotel (15 to 50 CUC depending on hotel).

By road – Viazul Bus + Taxi
Take a VIAZUL bus from Havana to Ciego de Avila City (see: www.viazul.com), and then hire a taxi from Ciego de Avila to Cayo Coco for about 80 CUC (~100 km/ 62 mi.)
