In the cayos of the Jardines del Rey archipelago you can live the dream of riding a horse (paseo a caballo) along a pristine Caribbean beach. Both novices and experiences riders can enjoy guided tours through nature trails and virgin beaches of Cayo Coco, and admire the nice fauna and flora. The tour is done at a walking/trotting pace and riding instructions are given before you saddle up and go. Their most popular excursion is the 2-hour Sunset Tour with dinner included, the meal in served in a ranchon (thatched roof restaurant) on the beach.

Another romantic option is a ride in a horse-drawn carriage (coches de caballo). They can be found in front of some hotels. You can reserve and pay directly with the conductor, or you can arrange a ride with the tour operator representatives located in the lobby of your hotel.
