The Sirenis Cayo Coco is now the Hotel Playa Coco (Cuban administration). The hotel Blue Bay Cayo Coco has changed for the Memories Caribe Beach Resort. The Hotel La Laguna (formerly NH Krystal) is now the Iberostar Mojito. The Blau Colonial is now administered by Cuban group Cubanacan under the name Hotel Colonial Cayo Coco. The Be Live Villa Coco has changed for the Hotel Villa Cayo Coco.

Melia Hotels International (3 hotels), Iberostar (2 hotels), Blue Diamond (2 hotels) and three hotels administered by the Cuban government.

All hotels in Cayo Coco have direct access to the beach with palapas (umbrellas made of dried palm leave) and lounge chairs. Sometimes you may have to walk of a footbridge to get to the beach. The hotels are divided into four sections of beach. These hotels offer the « all inclusive » packages ie d. meals, drinks, activities, non motorized water sports and other services are included in your travel package. However, gratuities are at your discretion and are not included. The average tip in Cuba is 1-2 pesos (CUC) depending on the service received. The following hotels offer shared service between the other Melia hotels. To do this, you have to present yourself at the lobby of your hotel to get a bracelet of the hotel you want to visit. Restriction: ONE hotel per day, from 9 am @ 17 pm, excluding the « A la carte » restaurants and the transportation between hotels is at your expense.

These are the only services available between hotels in Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo.

In high season (from December 15th to April 30th), the customers are mostly Canadian at the hotels. In low season, it is more diversified, there are Canadians, Britons, Germans, Italians, etc... Hotel guests are identified by a bracelet with different colors depending on the hotel.
